.....the windshield fell off and was being replaced...when a gaping empty cockpit called for a seat...how about something from the 1/48 scale Spirit of St. Louis from Revell.....?

....with some surgery on the sides.....success.....should the Charles Lindbergh figure here be used as well....?

.....maybe not for Charles....just too big with the arms attached...but, check out the disembodied head of Mr. Lindbergh...you tell me how many uses there are for that!....yes, whimsy is setting in....back to modeling....

Album info

This is my "favorite" model because it makes me smile every time its seen....a simple piece from Testors with circa 1949 molds, that gets a full rebuild here and, later, an interior upgrade.....see, i just can't let go.....
