Finally got mine! This will be my first real attempt at a helicopter. Most kits I build are cars. I practiced helicopter building with a 1/48 ah-64 and 1/35 AH-60L. Both are on the back burner now. I worked on AH-64's in the US Army and am already having a blast building this kit! Highly recommended!

I hope you read all the steps thoroughly or you will end like me having problems with the cockpit canopy which I stated the problem in the Takom AH-64D page.

Thank you for the heads up! What is it I should keep a look out for?

Part Q20 should not be installed in step 1 as on step 5, the cable has to be glued on part Q29 and the same cable has to run through the locating holes on part Q20.

Is that the ballistics glass between the Pilot and CPG stations? If so, I lost it anyway. I am mad at myself for that. I can't afford to even order a replacement of Takom even does that. I had it painted so nice. No paint on the glass and trim was nice and black. Ugh... Hahaha

An AH-64E in 1/35 scale? Bravo for Takom for they have done a something which has never been done in that scale (the closest is the out of availability Hasegawa version in 1/48).
