Ancient kit. Raised panel lines. Easy build. Around 70 parts. I'll admit I didn't give this kit a lot of tender loving care.

The only trouble I had was in the front where the top and bottom fuselage halves meet. Took a lot of sanding to make that section satisfactory.

Don't glue parts 44-46 to the undersides of the wings until after you have applied the US Navy decals.

The yellow decals were not opaque. This stood in stark contrast to the yellow tips that have to be painted on the wings, fins, and horizontal stabilators.

If you still have this kit in your stash and have children/grandchildren, give it to them as an intro to modeling. If not, spend an quick weekend and knock this one out. Not a bad kit, really, but time has left this one in the dust.
