Rod -Today I found that MEK (methyl ethyl ketone, Butanone) works well to clean the black melted tire goop off the kit parts. It comes off real quick, but I wouldn't want to leave parts in the solvent for longer than needed. MEK is evil stuff. Do not use indoors, the fumes are so much worse than acetone or thinners.
