Following. Does this one have the chains included?
me too. if i can make my 1/35 half as good as you do 1/72, i will be happy 🙂
Łukasz if mean the chains with the balls on the back side of the turret: yes
Spanjaard this is my first IDF vehicle ever. I hope I can weather it properly.
@Zsolt: Köszönöm 👍
Very nice, a Merkava 👍 In my opinion, airbrush "predusting" with a very light color around the lower half or third of the vehicle should work very well to get a solid foundation for weathering. Then just add a few dust washes and streaks and it should look the part... However I´ve also seen some photos of very muddy Merkavas around the Golan Hights Area. Anway I´m eager to see how this ends up 🙂
Oh yeah, following 🙂
Danke schön Tom und Mirko! 🙂

I appears I'm a bit late to your work here Zsolt, so I'll keep my comments simple: wow!
Thank you Rui and Jay!
Superbe travail,,,quel est la méthode pour faire la terre?
Paul-Emmanuel: thank you! I used AK8033- Light & dry crackle effects.
merci, je ne connaissais pas ce produit...

Thank you Bart. It looks good, but there are missing parts and details. But I'm the only one who knows them. I'll add and corret them later.
sehr gut 👍
So fast builded? Nice one.
Thank you David! Yes it's a "speed build ". It was a one weekend scale model build competition.

That's impressive, and especially for 1/72 scale! 👍
Thank you mates!

I've done a couple of 1/72 tanks but you're tempting me to do some more.
Not that I'd be able to get to your quality.
Looks awesome. I am tempted as well😎

Thank you so mouch mates! It's a pleasure to me to see all your kind comments!

Zvezda kit is quite simple but, you make it great
How did you do the streaking? Looks great!
Very well done alround 👍
Thank you mates!
OttovonLindberg: first I made a predusting with airbrush (AK724 Dry light mud) and the streking were made with AK pencils.

Like it, especially the faded colors
Beautiful! 👍 I also like the little shrub in the terrain! One thing though, isn't the yellow/red aerial recognition sheet supposed to be nylon sheet that can be draped on the vehicle? Now it looks to be painted on. Just my two cents....
Thank you Roman and Patrick!
Patrick: maybe tha yellow/red sheet is only a nylon sheet. But I leave it as it is...
This one is also completed. Not my best work, but I like it.

The whitewash is done on the Toldi. I can already feel: The winter is coming....
I made a pinwash after the whitewash again. The base gots some snow sprinkles...
I say now it's completed. Maybe later it will get a crewman...
well done, I like the weathering and the little display.
Danke schön Stefan!

HI, i have a tip: the forward axle is to near at the coverwheel. you must change the position of the axlefix
Thank you Thomas! This was only the dry fit.The forward axle is already modified. 🙂
Ok, IT looks nice in the last Picture
After 2 years this project seems also to be completed soon. So I painted, and pin washed the "Katyusa"
Yesterday I painted some highlights and fadings.
I airbrushed the predusting, and made a base for the Katyusha
December 17, 2020
Matt varnish sprayed. So They are waiting now for weathering!
After a long pause I made the pinwash on this duo.
The highlights and fading are painted with Abt502 oils!
Top small scale build!

I love the original Leopard 1 series. looking good so far! how is the fit of the resin turret?
I think it is designed for the Revell kit, but it fits also to this Italeri. It haa to be glued so it will be fix...
Hallo Zsolt, nice start, count me in. Cheers Stefan
Oh a Leopard... Im in 🙂
Let's back to the old forgotten project.
The first bad paint is oversprayed with black. After drying airbrushed with oliver green. Unfortunatelly no more Bundeswehr decals found in stash, so it will be an Italien one.
Like, very good
Meanwhile the decals are applied!
So cool, always wanted to have one in my collection too
Pin wash done!
Łukasz thank you! It's now a "refurbished" model. The first paint from 4 yeas ago was awfull. That time I was not able to paint it as I wanted....
Yesterday I played with oils: painted some highlights and fadings.

Looks good! 👍
Zsolt, Du hast das Äußerste aus einem 1/72 Bausatz herausgeholt.
Thank you Spanjaard!
Vielen Dank Neuling!

Thank you Spanjaard!
OttovonLindberg: Bart has right! Make the hole on the turret a little bit bigger. So it won't pop up anymore.
Hi Bart, I have not yet painted the model.
Hi Zsolt, thanks, I will try that. I sanded down the turret bottom some, and it didn't seem to help
Did you sand the vertical surfaces? On the bare plastic you dan also see the friction marks.
I have sanded down the turret bottom with a 160 grit sanding file. Looking at the upper hull, I do see two rings where it seems the turret cut into the plastic (the friction marks you're referring to).
OttovonLindberg upload photos about your build into your project's album. So we can see your photos and so we coud help you! 🙂
