I recently joined Scalemates and decided to introduce myself: I’m TankDrifter08 and I’m interested in the WWII era. I usually build planes in 1:72 and tanks in 1:48 (but tanks in 1:35 also interest me). I started using Scalemates to download instructions for the models I’m interested in, but now I’d also like to ask this community for help whenever I have modelling problems. What do you use Scalemates for?

Stash management, something I certainly is in need of.
After Market research so I see what to get and not to get for a certain kit.
Checking up on kit instructions before buing so I get some feel for how the kit get together.
Checking up the pedigree on kits of interest.
Social contact with other builders.
Searching for inspiration by browsing other builds.
Did I mention keeping track of everything that I've got in my stash.
