Hello All!- I have this kit, and if this is the 73 foot Vosper boat, then the scale is incorrect! The kit hull measures 15 & 7/8th inches, which works out to [roughly] 1/55 th scale- any 1/72 figures placed on deck look ridiculous! The kit itself seems solid, good detail and proportions- easy to RC but make sure to seal it well, anything that small will swamp easily! I will try to post the kit instructions soon.

These are all 1 to 1 copies of the old Tamiya Vosper Perkasa P150. The Perkasa-class was based on the Brave-class MTB but a bit larger at 99 ft 9 inches. The kit topic is Perkasa-class but that might have been changed (sneaky!) after your comment was made...

Hello all! Blackbeard's real best ship was the "Queen Anne's Revenge" and much smaller and less well armed than this! This kit is based on the "sovereign of the Seas" and can be built as such-Cheers!

This kit has been re-issued many times, it is based on the "St. Louis" of France, and can be built as such-{see Airfix "st.Louis"} Cheers!

Hello everyone! Just a note to inform- The "jolly Roger" is an older kit, and was closely based on a real frigate called "La flore" [Or Flora] which was built in the US and Given to France, after the war of independence, as partial payment for the financial debt owed. I believe the Annapolis naval museum has a wooden model of this ship which is contemporary- Cheers!
