Stopped by the LHS to check out the bargain shelf and didn't find anything interesting, so I wandered around a bit to see if there was anything that would inspire me to spend the rest of my birthday gift cards. I stumbled upon a small stack of these Wunderschöne Neue Maschinen Pt.1 kits and thought they might be a fun build. But, then I saw the price...$60 CAD...for 1:72...!!! I quickly calmed down when I realized there are two kits complete with PE, masks, stencils and decals for 14 different subjects!!! I could not resist. It's now on the bench next to the two Portuguese Spitfires I have started; maybe I could do a... 'what if Portugal picked a side during the war' diorama.

Spanjaard@David, if you are short of space, try 1/144, there are some amazing kits out ther with the most exquisite detail (Sweet or Platz from Japan, or Eduard). For some, there are even PE sets if you are crazy enough 😉

David Cannon@Spanjaard, thanks for recommendations, I looked into the 1/144 a bit and PE a tiny bit. Wont be trying PE anytime soon but looks interesting. I think I might start picking up some kits for 1:144, sees how it goes.

Henry Ch.Excelent 1/200 kit, plenty of details. Includes 5 planes, and full PE cabin (the outcome is superb). Very good value for money. Maybe the decals are medium quality.

Henry Ch.Tengo la maqueta bien guardada, toda llena de fotograbados, cubierta de madera y cañones metálicos. Va a ser un proyecto de vida, lleno (abarrotado) de piezas microscópicas, lucha con los PE, montaje de los cables...Cuándo empezaré? Cuántos meses tardaré? Tendré que esperar a jubilarme?

Henry Ch.A nice kit, good plastic and details. Includes PE, but no siderails, and 8 metal 305 mm gun. Nice inst. book, but small; a little detail, color scheme is inclomplete. Recommended.

Henry Ch.En mi opinión, maqueta de calidad media, con muchas rebabas y detalles justitos, aunque sea 1/144. En la caja vienen 2 aviones, pero es cara para la calidad que ofrece. Tengo un He-219 de esta marca y escala y el contenido de la caja es bastante bueno...el La-7 me ha decepcionado.

Henry Ch.Maqueta soberbia, que ya no fabrica Eduard. El detalle y el tamaño son excelentes, y terminada llama mucho la atención, 1/144 es la mejor escala para el Ju-52. Lo que me sorprendió fue la falta de la antena circular, que tuve que conseguir por ahí. Mi duda es, qué problemas tendría Eduard en volver a sacar estos modelos antiguos - pero de gran calidad - si ya tiene los moldes? Lo haría por petición popular?
