A couple of hours one afternoon I suppose - I printed out the masks onto label paper at the correct size and cut out with a scalpel - wanted them 'there and then' - too impatient to wait for delivery!

Excelent result you achieved by using this approx. 30 years old kit. I know what I am talking about because I built it in the 80´s.

I love these older Italeri kits - I think of them as very 'honest' kits - about as good as they could make them for the time. Compared with what Airfix were churning out at the time, they have some nice crisp detailing (and plenty scope to add a bit yourself!)
They're great for my level of experience as panel lines need scribed, but the fit isn't always as good as it can be so you also need to be a dab hand with a wee bit of filler!
