This is Mini Racing's third release of the Renault A-442s that were entered in the 1978 LeMans 24 Hour race. This one is the A-442A model of the #4 "Calberson car or the #3 "Elf" car. The body is cast as the #4 car and although Mini Racing includes the parts necessary to make the #3 car you will have to make a number of alterations to the body to get the model correct (Mini Racing includes directions as to the changes needed). As the #4 car the body casting incorporates all the changes to the cockpit surround, front clip, rear deck and wing supports to to make this an accurate model of this A-442A. As with their other A-442 kits Mini Racing has done a nice job accurately depicting the changes in each individual car.
