Got a special Eduard prize at Slovenian SCM festival for the Spitfire.
Prize was "Southern Star" Limited Edition of two Spits, with decals for the upcoming "Per Aspera Ad Astra" Limited Edition. Eduard know how to make good models and how to make people happy 🙂 👍

It do be complete... the first product of the quarantene. Fun to build, paint, weather. 10/10. Just decals are a bit thick, needed a LOT of setter. Even so, the fuel decal did not set down but I'll live.

Nice job... Took me some time to work out what looks odd, before I realized the US markings... 🙂 Weathering turned out just right! 👍

Looks great. Historical question - did the U.S. Army Air Corps have / use Spitfires in North Africa?

Hi Brian, it would appear that they did participate in N. Africa with their spits.. details here: americanairmuseum.com/unit/271
