That was a great album Dirk 👍 many nice builds to look at. not sure about the paint job on the 250 that looks more like a 275 tho.

@Alexander:
I`m not a Ferrari expert. So it is difficult for me to definitely verifying this model.
🙂
@ Steve:
I could talking yesterday with two guys from switzerland. So, it seems it must be an easy task to find some mates for a journey to Frankfurt
;)
@ Holger: This Benetton Ford B188 was piloted by Alessandro Nannini in 1989. As I know Schumi has driven a Benetton Ford B 192 in 1992? I don`t have any reference to proof your guess.
@ Tim: Of course it was a fantastic show!!
A lot of nice models, inspiration and the time was running like butter in the sun!

Excellent!!!
Next years show is on my hit list, well I'll try!!!

@Dirk and Holger, that car is indeed the B188 which was used in 1988 and the first part of 1989. Schumachter never drove it in a race as he only joined Benetton at Monza in 1991 driving the B191.

The F1 cars back then where much more masculin as the cars now!Supercharger, 2 meters wide, wings like a paddle and 1200 HP!😄
Thanks for the information, Tim;)

Tim van Dooremalen
Supercharger? You'd wish 😉 The "only" thing they had was a turbo or two, which is still enough to get real POWEERRRRRR 🙂 The width was well over 2 meters, 2.15 meter if memory serves me correct. And the BMW in the back of the Benetton in 1985 had at least 1280 hp (BMW does not actually know the power since there dyno only went to 1280hp 😉).

Hmmm, in German, supercharger means "Turbolader", do we eventually mean the same?
4 November 2013, 19:07
Tim van Dooremalen
Yes, I think we do. In English and Dutch a supercharger is different from a turbo(charger). The latter is being driven from the exhaust gasses whereas the supercharger is driven mechanically directly from the crankshaft.

Then we just missunderstood us!🙂
I mean The same like you!

That's so different from those events, I use to go.
Also here lots of nice models, but I can't escape myself. I like the dirty ones like the Audi (pics 6 and 7). I used to drive the "civil" version in a former life. Pics 102, 103 also show a nice scene.
Some good trucks as per my opinion.
Thanks for sharing, Dirk!

Yes Frank,
it is totally different.
For me it is essential to have a look to other modelling genre.
New ideas, perspectives, hits and tips are always important for me.
Btw, with all respect for military modelling, it was something relaxing only colourful and extremely aerodynamic models to observe.
You know, I`m building mainly military, but sometimes only Olivedrab and Darkgrey give me the "Blues"...
🙂

@Dirk: 👍 Fully understood! That's also my saying. Don't know in English, but in German: "Öfter mal über den Tellerrand schauen...."

Album info

The only pure civil model expo in germany!
The level is unbelieveable high and I was today only for 4 hours there.
I could make only a cup of photos.
Enjoy, I hope you like my little journey!

Dirk
