Satellite Deterrent Eagle Progress

After mating the forward and main fuselage, lots of putty and sanding had been done to get it to a decent look where the seam lines meet.
Not to mention the wing roots and the intakes (not done as of yet on this picture). 

Clear sprue-goo has been used on the wing roots here. A coat of primer will reveal if any additional putty and sanding is needed. 

Rivets have been created as this kit has zero. Some of the panel lines were re-scribed to enhance the look and add more "character". Hopefully, it turns out ok once the paint is on. 

After adding a quick coat of Mr. Surfacer 1500, it revealed the seam lines and the result is the sanding seen here between the top and bottom fuselage. 

With another coat of 1500, more seams are revealed to putty and sand again. The story of my life with this build... 

The same goes here with the intakes—more putty and sanding. 

I'm hoping the GWH kit will be better. Until then, onward with the Hasegawa Eagle. 

The never-ending seamlines, more putty! 

Not much progress but something is better than nothing. 

I believe I got all the seam lines taken care of at this point. I washed it down with IPA to reveal only the panel lines of the 1500 Mr. Surfacer. 

The Aires cans look so much better than the kit provides. These have been painted using Alclad paints and a light mix of Tamiya smoke. 

The aft engine area was airbrushed with Tamiya's gloss black and masked. 

After removing the seam and sanding and polishing, the canopy was masked and painted using Mr. Color grey and Alclad copper.
