Hello Ingo,

I know your post is quite old but I was wondering about one thing in the review you wrote in the MBK webshop for this kit.

You say the kit has a height issue, where you said it is 11mm too low? If I may ask, where did you get this information from? Because from what I can tell the kit is pretty much spot on? And none of the reviews and none of the posts I have found through google of people that built the kit are mentioning this height issue?

Take a look at the images below. The first image shows the kit on the left and a photo of the original vehicle on the right. It looks to me like the height is spot on?

You also state that soldiers would not be able to stand straight. That is correct. The actual real vehicle is indeed quite low and soldiers were, in fact, not able to stand straight. You can see that in the second image which is in one of my reference books. If you compare body length of the soldiers to the overall height of the truck it is clear that they would not fit standing up straight. Other WWII photos of this vehicle found through google show that as well.

So I would very much like to know the source of your information, so I can make notes in case the information I have available is wrong 🙂 I think it is important to get the correct information out in the open, especially since you rated the kit with one star, which basically means it is rubbish (which I honestly don't think it is).
