Just got the new Hobby Boss A-6A from Sprue Bros and it looks awesome in the box! I am glad I sold my Kinetic kit when I did as this kit blows that one out of the water. One piece canopy as well, YAY!!!

The forward and main canopies in the Kinetic kit are in 4 pieces, 2 fwd pieces and 2 main pieces that are split laterally and having very little bonding surface to use. The Prowler canopies have 6 pieces total if I remember correctly. The HB kit has 1 fwd canopy (windscreen) and 1 maincanopy piece. I haven't noticed if you can open the canopy in the HB kit but I am sure you can. If this doesn't make any sense at all there are several forum thread around that talk about this issue. The detail on the HB is a lot sharper and crisper as well. HTH.

Choices are few my friend. I own a Fujimi kit and it is rather sparse but with a little work it can be made into something acceptable. I'm not sure if the price of the newer so called "super kits" are worth it. We are all modelers, so a little elbow grease is considered fun where I come from. I hope you enjoy your new HB kit. Don't let the small details get to you.
