Hi everyone,

I need to paint some kits now. What is a good airbrush, compressor, spraybooth? I guessing I will spend about 300 for all 3. Do I need a tank? Do decompressed still sputter?

If there is a forum let me know. I am sure this question has come up before.

Thanks

I would think those would do you just fine to start out with. It's all about practice! Somewhere on Google there are some airbrush practice patterns, I started there. First thing you gotta do is be able to put the paint where you want it!, that alone takes a bit of practice. Then you have to learn how to thin you're paint so it sprays right. I started with cheap craft paint thinned with a 1-1 mix of dollar store 50% Iso Alcohol [IPA] & Distilled water $1 a gallon. Or if you live where you can buy windshield washer fluid [anti freeze type], that's only couple dollars a gallon and works pretty well. Some just use water!! As you get better with the AB, then start using better paints & thinners.
Model paints are EXPENSIVE !!! You don't want to waste $$$ till you get confident with the AB.
Good Luck & Have Fun !! Experiment !!
