Ben MDear scalemates, what is the wisdom on attempting to use old decals? Should I spray them with An enamel gloss coat first?

Ben MThank you everyone. The fluid, the sunlight, and the advice that it's better to go with new are all good tips. I have improvised some out of new decals for other aircraft to start. Not totally sure how I will do it but I will improvise proper knil Buffalo markings somehow
