This is really an awful kit to work with. The molding is very bad and the design requires a lot of correcting.

If you want to do a P-51 D Mustang DON'T buy this kit from Revell ! The 1/72 kit from Tamiya is far better.

Indeed you'd better go for a Tamiya or the new Airfix. But still this one doesn't look that bad for such an old set of sprues 👍
