"Lockheed PV-1 Ventura GRV
Never released. It is believed that te first test mouldings were obtained in
March 1977. Some 40,000 boxes were printed in 1974 or 1975, (they had the Skybase text, of the H1 box type), butalmost all of these were eventually thrown away. Of the test mouldings that later got out on the collectors market, only about 100 were complete with the boxes. Thousands of decal sheets were printed as well, but most of these were saved. The kit was at one stage to have a Spin-a-Prop issue.

There is some suggestion that some boxes made their way eastwrards, to wrap themselves those nice east european products.

As an aside, ARK have re-released this kit and it looks quite okay,
