Stephan Ryll Looking really nice Jens did you count the white spots you've done here ;) I would have gone crazy
17. August at 07:06:19
Jens Thanks Stephan :) and no I have not counted, only 3 days repeatedly rolled, cut and glued, finally looked again if everything was in place and paint over it, really bad, because the madness had its end :D

gorbygould Nice paint scheme!
It also proves that you have ten times the patience that I have. ;)

Slavo Hazucha Jens you really have a soft spot for the most excruciating camouflage jobs... ;) Admirable
17. August at 14:47:41
Jens Thanks colleagues for the nice words, it makes me happy if the scheme can convince.
@ Slavo if I wanted to torture myself, then I would build B 29 in natural metal, which requires absolute perfection in the preparation ;)

Thomas Bischoff another Nightfighter! Camo looks great!

James C Awesome Jens, I'm keen to see how the camouflage turns out as I was considering a similar method for a future build myself.
17. August at 19:54:09
Nigel I'm curious to know what this method entails, since the light/dark pre-painting seems to be inverted from the target camouflage scheme.

Clifford Keesler Very nice Jens.

Jens Thank you friends for the comments :) Why so elaborately masked, well, I have 2014 already masked a Ju 88 C6 with Pattafix (Ju 88 C-6 Dragon / Revell | Album by Starterset ) and want to create a kind of meander, now that I have seen the pattern on the decals of OWL, I wanted these brushstyles, but since in this form of masking no refinish or repairs are possible, just make everything new, sorry but missing me then the motivation, so now come the little extras that should have the machine from Wittgenstein but ICM are not mentioned or missing the parts for it

James C The camouflage pattern turned out great. I definitely want to try that.
20. August at 10:18:19
Jens Thanks James, if you want to try it, plan a long, very very long vacation ;)

Michael Hickey She looks really nice.
20. August at 10:35:41
Jens Thanks Michael, I'm really happy if the intention to achieve the brushstyle is good :)

Holger Kranich Hi Jens! Hatte die C6 von Sayn-Wittgenstein eine "Schräge Musik"? Oder war das nur in seiner 110?
20. August at 11:11:05
Jens ICM und auch OWL sagen ja, da ich nicht dabei war und meist den Plänen glauben schenke hab ich die Löcher gebohrt ;)

Bryn Crandell WOW! Now that is a speckled paint job. Looks time consuming but worth it in the end.

Stephan Ryll Very nice work Jens

Clifford Keesler Excellent paint job Jens.

Jens Thank you friends for the nice words, that helps to forget everything negative of the ICM Ju 88 :)
