Hi folks. I have a question on a specific tool and its current availability. The Hasegawa Trytool TT-07 etching shears. There appears to be two versions of this posh scissors. I bought one many years ago and instead of using it on etch i found it was the best sprue nub trimmer I ever used. It's a really sharp scissors with a fine point and was the most used tool on my bench. I managed to mangle it last year (don't ask how....) I found the original box with the TT-07 code and ordered a replacement online. However the one that arrived is much thicker and has a serrated edge on one of the blades. I found another online that looked like my original and ordered that, but again another one of the newer version arrived. I since ordered a TT-08 in case I was making the mistake and whilst this is a plastic cutter and a proper scissors it's not what I needed. Still too thick. I'm just wondering if any of you know of the original in stock anywhere. The original has a black handle and and a fine point, no serrated edge to either blade. The newer has a brown thicker handle, thicker blades, a serrated edge on one side and a semi-circle cut out in the base of the blade.
