John LentThanks Stefan. I enjoyed the build and it gave me an opportunity to learn about Lt Steinhauser's combat career.

John LentThanks Katya. I think it's a great part of the build; had to use the decal for that one though. My guess is Steinhauser got the idea for the face from Werner Voss. I also have a book that shows a German Airman painted a face on his Fokker D-VI. He named his aircraft "Fratz" and served in a home defense unit.
