Hi to all at Scalemates. Thought as I'm totally New to this area of modelling I would join up to gather some of the infinite wisdom you all would have to offer. As I have mentioned I'm totally "green" in this area of modelling. My back ground is RC planes, but due to family priorities and my love of large scale gear, I thought I would satisfy my WW2 era appetite for aircraft in this area as budget wise it's more affordable.
I have already got a couple of kits, as can be seen in my stash area. Probably not beginner material I know, but that's why I'm here. To ask, learn, and annoy you all.
Look forward to get amounts it with you all
Cheers
Tim

Thanks for the welcome from you all. I look forward to chatting with yaz. Hey Tom you are doubly screwed. Just stick with small electric RTFs or ARTFs lol. I was into pylon racing and large scale WW2 planes. My last one was a 1/4 scale mosquito with twin 80cc gas motors. Cost $9800au all up. Flew for 10 minutes until a $60 battery failed. 30 min picking up bits of balsa and ply. Heart broken. But please dont let my misfortune put you off lol. Awesome hobby and very rewarding and satifying. All the best to you all and look forward to seeing you on the forum
