Hi Zimmermaniac! This kit is only recommend, if you are willing to work a lot on details because ther are non of them. Its a very old an in my oppinion very bad kit! Just be sure you have tons of putty at home! The only thing wich is very good are the decals. The rest ist only recommend for children to play with...

Ok, i would do the same! But the decals are really nice, maybe you can use parts of them, when needed...

well it has advantages, you can skip certain steps. Like dry fitting
as it does not fit, you can skip directly to creating braces, fittings and whatever else you need to push panels apart, pull closer or just add material where is none. Be positive 😄
