I see you have the transkit with the engine. Those are pretty hard to come by, aren't they?

Hi Tim, Yes the Studio 27 transkit has been out of production for quite a few years. I got lucky and found this one on ebay recently, with the Tamiya kit and all the other detail sets listed for a really good price. I had been wanting to build one of these for years.

Have you ever thought about making resin copies of that engine?

Like you, I found an out-of-production Studio27 transkit (for the Impreza P2000) a few years ago (for a lot of money). I had a friend make 10 resin copies.... So I still have the transkit in it's original state and have made a few fellow modellers very happy with a relatively cheap way to build a Sub P2000 🙂
