Ron Garcia Way more complicated than it should have been. Study the directions carefully or you'll waste time working on a subassembly that doesn't fit the version you're making - believe me, I know! Later, I put a bunch of time working on the exhaust system only to discover that the entire thing is covered by a plastic piece! Since I put so much time into it, I left the cover off. By the time I was finished building it I was ready to move on. I decided to just paint it overall Desert Sand and call it good. The pictures of the camouflage I've seen looks like the black or dark green has a hard demarcation line. With all the panels and grooves on the surface, masking would have been a chore even with Silly Putty. Plus, I didn't want to risk knocking off the many fragile PE parts littering the surface. In the end, I think it came out nice, but it was too much work to get there. This kit is definitely a challenge and you will spend hours on subassemblies with teeny tiny PE parts. How I didn't lose one is a miracle! This one is definitely not for beginners or even average builders. I say that because to me, it was a test of endurance to get it done. I think it would frustrate someone new to the hobby. I've built tons of models and this one was up there in difficulty. Experienced modelers only, need apply!

EnsignExpendabl Yeah, I built this kit recently, and oh boy it was hard work. I picked the Soviet Lend Lease version, that one had fewer fiddly bits than the desert British version.
