The base for this side car is the solo version also provided by SOL. I used the single BMW of SOL on my Natter dio. The first visual impresion of this kits was great but the fit was poor ( I had to shorten one frame because they had different length. Seems to be the same on the side car kit that I have in my stash.

I scratch built since the complete framework . The Sol tyres are out of scale, too small! The original BMW 750 ccm was equipped with the same tyre size as the Sd.Kfz. 82 Kübelwagen . Quelle:

I cast a Tamiya Kübelwagen tyre and milled the rim away, so I could attached the Sol photo etched part.

Well done Dirk. I did not check the dimensions and built it out of the box. Most important for me was that it looks like a BMW 🙂
