Fingers crossed on this..last one in stock for $36 CDN. The new version is even worse than I thought - not only does the new kit delete most of the PE, the turned barrel and the clear parts, it's a mix and match of three kits that results in gaps, incorrect pieces and even pieces that don't fit and/or leave holes to be filled! The instructions are full of errors due to Dragon copying and pasting three different kits' instructions - calling out for pieces that don't exist or that are already molded on! Also the new hull is apparently different dimensions. I would avoid the new incarnation of this kit . If you are considering a Marder II look for this one.

The Bronco Kit, CB35097,is better.
As you have pointed out ,the Dragon Kit from 2006 is an example of how the Mix'nMatch approach can go wrong .Unlike the various Dragon Marder lll Ausf. M Kits, when a more evolutionary approach resulted in improvements in accuracy and build quality,the two Marder ll Kits, which have followed the 2006 release, do not really improve upon matters at all.
