It's a great addition to the tools I have, I've tested it on scrap resin and styrene, but not on a model yet. It seems to work surprizingly well. You need to press harder on resin for better definition and you may need to do it more than once, carefully, as it's easy to go off track. The ultimate test will be on a model though🤔 I've also ordered several RPTOOLZ products, including the Punch and Die set. I can see that they look well made and may have more than one use;)

I found it's good to outline the pattern, but the markings it leaves on the surfaces are small stripes, and not round, so it needs some care afterwards with a needle or something

Hi Bart, I found it gives an acurrate spacing between marks. I then define marks round with a drill bit, so it's easier to place P/etch rivets or make deeper holes for turned aluminium rivets... However you approach rivets it's a slow and laborious task, but this tool does making spacing much easier. I once tried those strips of stick on rivets, never again!!!
