Guido, Urban: Exactly, darker is Italeri, Revell is lighter.

(Sorry for my english) Building preview made the guy from Čáslav, who work directly with Grippens. I will try to summarize: Revell is a missed opportunity - kit has a some of inaccuracies (and terrible landing gear). Reviewer says: Revell is better than the Italeri (corresponds better C / D version), but still a little disappointing (especially when Revell measured and photographed the specific airplane!). Red line - putty, green line - make new engraving, antenna on the tail - move from red to green (on Czech Grippen), venting tanks on the wrong side of the wing. Missing formation lights (yellow boxes). The shape of the aircraft and nozzle are OK. Better Gripen kit in 1/72 not exists (although this kit could be better).

Well off course the Revell corresponds better to the C version as the Italeri is an A version.
