In the contribution section would it be possible to add pop instructions to the fields as people may not wish to scroll down to read the instructions themselves and maybe we could expand on the instructions themselves.

I note specifically that a lot of 'errors' seem to be made in the scale and product type fields.

Maybe the scale field could be treated similarly to the topic field where a 'warning' pops up when someone tries to enter a new scale type (*:*) (*mm) and when someone tries to enter outside this a warning - also note that mm is limited to heights and multiple scales in No

In the product type some further explanations of what each product type is and what it isn't. Just looking at the scope of the product type errors seems to me to point to common errors being made and maybe a few extra instructions would stop them being made. Decals is a case in point - maybe the instructions should make it clear it includes self adhesives /transfers etc (which I assume it does)

Dear sirs,

I have been modeling for figures for several years and I am currently carrying out a study on several brands and figures published in the 20th century.

I think the TAMIYA brand has made at least 3 editions of the "Samurai Warriors" (Boxes with 4 figures and 8 figures) from the "Japanese History Samurai Warriors" series.

The References (respectively of 4 and 8 figures) of which I am aware are:

HM3501 / HM3502

89556 / 89557

25410 / 25411

and a Limited Edition with Japanese Instructions:

49502 (4 or 8 figures? Or both?)

Is it possible to confirm all references and their years of editing?

Thanking you in advance,
best regards

Alec K Hello Jose - try searching the database (top right corner of most pages on this site) 89556 came up:
Chushingura (47 ronins) (Tamiya 89556, 1:35)

1:35 Chushingura (47 ronins) (Tamiya 89556)

José Carvalho Thanks Alec but the HM3501 / HM3502 and 49502 References don't exist in this database, and I am sure there are real, just do not know the years of the issues.

I've tried to contact Tamiya in Japan but without success.

Already, References 89556/7 and 25410/25411 refer to the same figures (x4 and x 8) and the edit dates are correct in this data base.

References HM3501 / HM3502 will have been the release edition and 49502 will have been edited shortly thereafter.

Alec K Got it. Maybe someone will know. Best of luck with your search

Richmond Jose - I am not 100% sure what your query is -

I think I have located HM3501 and have added it to the database - however the product number is not discernible from the image I found and maybe the example chosen is actually incorrectly designated and is actually for 89556 or 25410 - if you believe this to be the case can you let me know and I will change as I have also located another image of 3501 where the number is discernible but the image is low quality

You do realise that as a Scalemate you are permitted to locate the missing products and upload them yourself through the contribute function?
