Daniel KlinkAfter 2,5hours of sanding, filling and sculpting (Mainly Vallejo putty and Green Stuff used) an airplane
becomes visible.
And when you take a closer look, you will se that it has not that much in common with a 262 as first thought.

I decided for the paint scheme behind the kit. The black engine cover undersides looking very attractive in my opinion.

Peeling off more than it should and the dark preshading disappears out of the panel-lines...

Daniel KlinkHi Sebastian.. yap very surprising for me cause i worked with Vallejo over Gunze before and never had this issues.. I will try to correct it with very careful and thinly applied postshading after a coat of Aqua gloss..

Peeling yes but noth that exactly the preshaded panelines and small areas will turn white after applying the
Second darker coat of color. And nothing of postshading or washes stays in panellines ???
Anyway, i will sell it as worn and weathered look 🙂

Daniel KlinkHi mate.. hm i think in terms of prototypically i think the Airfix is more accurate but, from earlier experiences with academy kits i woul say they are going nicer and smoother together.

Revells A-1a, Academys A-2, Airfix' A-2A and finally AzM Single Seater Kikka.
