PatrikGI heard on the Modeling insanity podcast that using tape with the sticky side up when cutting was a good way to keep stuff from popping off into the carpet, and that was a real saviour 🙂

I got hold of some cheap Mirage Hobby subs and tried to also get the photo etch parts, but they seem very hard to find. In the end I used Tom's Hardware's set for Type VII and used some parts also for the Type IX's. For the railing I used Aber's ship railing in 1/400, and for barrels and scopes it's again Abers sets. I wanted to see if I could make these into something that looked a bit better than I initially thought.
