thanks guys. its real hard working on the Academy version, this was kind of a scratch-build mule where I experimented in extending the nose and reconstructing the whole front section of the fuselage.

Awesome, just love this aircraft in real life and you have done it justice. The mottled weathering is great, looks fabulous. I searched for years to get the Hasegawa kit, of course unbuilt, you may have just inspired me.

hi Scott - thanks. I hope you find the Hasegawa kit. I have done their F-14D and it's awesome. the only sin I did was building it as a clean cat which i dearly regret.

I found one, safely in stash, built Tamiya 1/32 with resin cockpit in mean time.
