It´s not easy to do a white finish, but your Narcissus looks great. Well done Ulf!
A sound and harmonious interpretation of this theme... very well done, I am impressed... thank you for these inspiring pictures!
Superb ! A nice boost for the livingroom shelf, I bet your sister is thrilled by this professionally executed built, I like the presentation stand as well.
Thank you all very much for your kind words. Leif, your profile picture's just cool! 😎 How did you come across my model? Searching for Alien stuff?😉
Hanno, yes my sister loves it - and that's enough reason to carry on with further projects. For the 30th anniversary of Aliens 2016 I plan to make a scene with the Halcyon Power Loader and the Alien Queen - but don't tell her!!!
By the way: did you see my other contribute I made for her?

I came across this model looking at your bomber post..wanted to see what else you had done...and then I was like, "Ah! Another fan!"
Very nice, one of my favourite movies and you have made an outstanding work on that one!
Leif, yes, I am a fan as well! Especially "Aliens" is a classic of action movies.
Matthias, thank you!

Hello Mates!
Today I present to you a classic Sci-Fi-item: the life boat "Narcissus" which plays a significant role at the end of "Alien" and the beginning of its sequel "Aliens".
The model was a remittance work for my sister, a fanatic Alien enthusiast. She went for the kit and handed it over to me to build it.
The model has very few parts and is assembled very quickly. For the tinted cockpit windows I did not waste time and effort for the interior and left only the seats. I abandoned the idea of any illumination as well.
The painting started with Vallejo grey primer and some preshading with black. After that I sprayed a thin layer of MA white. The only variation are the boosters in black.
After transfering the decals without any problems I made some weathering, but very carefully, and sealed it with a final layer of silk coat.
The presentation post caused some headache to me. After some seesaw I chose a simple MDF-board painted black. The model was positioned on three pieces of sprue which I placed as
