Left is the part from Eduard, right is my own. Not perfect, but considering size and visibility it suits me.

Removed the loader's hatch from the ESCI turret. Bogey trucks and roadwheels from Trumpeter M4A3 added. These come pre-assembled in the kit as an extra option (probably for wargaming)

The handle of the shovel is too long...

The big star decal somehow got damaged. I didn't want to repaint, so I put another star over it. Unfortunately it shows...

One of the main donor kits, the Trumpeter M4A3(76)W. This kit comes with 2 turret options, but only 1 gun rotor shield; fortunately Revell's Department X came to the rescue. Also scratched 1 turret hatch.

I have done a few of these kit bashes, I will watch and see what you will do.

Thanks Dave, but don't expect anything too spectacular. I'm only building for fun, in my rare spare time without any kids around, with cheap tools. Certainly not trying to build an award-winning contest-model...😢

It's always about fun, I no longer build for "contests", I just want to see if I can build something different once I build the "standard" kit. Good luck.

Almost finished, still waiting for the Italeri kit to arrive, so I can use the spare tracks from that one. Already used the turret from my ESCI M4A1 Calliope, as that is exactly the same as the Italeri. Unfortunately, I had a struggle with some dry transfers, trying to make an existing tank. That turned out to be a disaster, so I had to settle for a fantasy tank with a reg. number from the ESCI Calliope.

Tough job in that scale, Martin. Like your progress and results so far!

Sorry Maarten😉 Work is not finished yet. I might rework the shovel and probably even the circle-star on the back. It annoys me...

I assume the big stars are to dissuade trigger happy p-47 pilots (sorry, I know that's obvious).
