Götterdämmerung

Album image #1
Hull with .4mm plastic rod added for weld bead detailing later.

Album image #2
View of the turret. Note the holes of the circular weld holes. I attempted to clean them out with a 1.5mm sling blade to replace the weld seams inside. Unfortunately I messed up. Pissed and being so impatient and messing up, I filled the holes with my home brewed liquid plastic. These are guid holes for my next attempt.

Album image #6
Before the cleaning of the weld beads.

Album image #7
Adding some wires to the lights.

Album image #8
The front hull before cleaning out the weld seams on the body. I didn't like the seams so will clean them out with a .5mm chisel and fill with .4mm plastic rod. Some weld seems were added to the shield plates, textured with a .5mm chisel and then coated with Tamiya extra thin liquid cement.

Using Dragon's 1/72 Maus, some 3D printed terrain and figures, I aim to create a "what if " diorama of defenders of the Riech making a last stand at the Brandenburg Gate.
