Today I drilled out the exhaust because it unfortunately looked too static. Then repainted and pigments rusted and soot on it.

The turbocharger was glued together and glued to the partition and aged. The landing gear bay received the machine guns and was aged. The machine guns were still being drilled out. Enough for today. Hope you like it....

Today the cockpit and the turbocharger were glued into the hull half as well as both exhausts. Then a fitting test. It all fits very well. I opted for open cooling flaps. Since I want to build out of the box, I removed the material in between the flaps myself, I didn't want to buy anything new.... 30 minutes later.... ?. I hope you like it.

Today I returned from a long weekend in Gdansk. I visited Westernplatte where WWII started. Back in Lüdenscheid, I immediately resumed work ?
I filed out the slots for the MG. Although I'm really not sure if the D11 had them. Unfortunately, I can't find a picture of the school planes. The instructions show them but the humps are not on the wings. Maybe someone has a tip?
Then I glued in the first straps and painted the wheels.
At the end I glued both halves of the fuselage together.

Hope you like it!

Today the front part was glued to the fuselage. The undercarriage was partially weathered and the cockpit canopy masked. A lot of work and time but not much to see. I also applied the first layer of putty between wing and fuselage. I hope it will be something and you like it....🙂
