The start is quite straightforward with the track suspension, the wheels and the two jigs to assemble the link-and-length parts. The body is then built with only the clearparts as the only intermezzo. I added the main gun with the Aber barrel and closed down the turret, but the secundary weapons will have to be attached from the inside out.

Thanks for the interest, the last part was glued today. Only 4 Voyager PE parts didn't end up on the MG. I also paid attention to the seams between the facets, they couldn't show up and had to be sanded sharp. Some clearparts are quite thick, it was hard to put chrome on the backside.

The Green Stuff arctic digital camo decals have arrived, I had to order them from France, so I took a desert camo set too. The tank was painted in modulated white with some NATO black details like the muzzle break and wheels. Tracks were primered in black and then painted Vallejo Gunmetal. Now a glosscoat is coming.

Thanks, S M. In this update the tracks are constructed, then broken down again because of a horrible error in the manual. Step 5 is showing the tracklinks in the wrong direction, so both tracks got reversed. All now painted components had to be disassembled and put back again. I don't understand how a technical drawing like that can botch this important information like that. On the same page, there is a view showing the links correctly. It took me half an hour to do this and put the side armour back on, using copious amounts of glue. When I posted the tank on a table, it wobbled slightly. Even with these jigs to place the wheels, a general misalagnment of the left and right legs position plane can't be prevented, it seems. Maybe next time provide square holes and pegs.
Then, a whole day was spent on placing all Green Stuff arctic camo decals on the tank. It was quite fun to see the tank getting gradually covered up. It seems like this is the ideal kit to use this decal set on, even the last decals found a place and none are overlapping. No products are used yet, I will use Daco Sol on the whole tank.

😎Digital camo looks great! Shame for the tracks and the inaccurate manual, but good you were able to fix it on this stage👍

Now, the Green Stuff "Tau" stamp roll is used to make a dedicated SF base. I did some painting already but I want to do changes.

With the finishing of the base this project is done. The base was sprayed with white primer and hot orange from opposite directions, creating a nice optical effect. I glued the tank to the base, it will be in the KMK contest on 1 june.
