Spraying with AK Real Colour and about 9-10 psi. What a difference, went down smooth, no tip dry. 

Mind you I did get a little over exuberant, have to work on my technique a bit more. 

Distressed the paint work using the hairspray method a stiff brush and some cocktail sticks. 

Just have to apply the anti glare to the top front/back of the fuselage and the identification bands on the wings. Then onto decaling and more weathering. 

Touch up's here and there too. 

Nice and shiny, ready for decals. 

In the middle of decaling. Cor Blimey Guvnor I fort Tamiya decals were tricky, the pooling is decal softener. Hasegawa decals are a another level. Soaking them till the card goes flat on my cutting mat, putting them on the model, trying to paint on the softener and leaving for about 30 mins before rolling out, as trying to roll them out on application just moves the decals about.

Well this took me back to the Seventies. Without the teenage angst, spots and lusting after Angela McCabe, but with gluey fingerprints, bits snapping off, dodgy masking and props dropping from centre.
