Having a closer look at this kit and the large parts amount is mostly due to the amount of wheels and suspension parts but looks pretty straight forward. Very long one piece chassis rails, (Nearly the length of the box!) Kit says it's around 64cm long or just over 2 feet.
Makes me wonder just what kind of surface this thing can handle without twisting or cracking the frame? Wonder how well the wheel bearing seals are too! Looking at the wonderful maintenance Russian vehicles receive? And just how many football fields it takes to turn it around even though i think it has all wheel steering. The only thing i am disappointed with is the lack of including a missile to place inside the launch tube. That would make an impressive model on it's own. Might have to scratch build one or look for a aftermarket one?
This kit comes in a large box and weighs about 2.6kg Just remember that if your buying one that needs shipping!

The 1/72 versions are a better bet for more compact size and weight.. I have the Revel 1/72 still in its box.. I have seen a kit for the missile that someone had made.. just don't know if it fits inside the launch tube..

Thanks Santosh, Yes i have the 1/72 Revell kit and the Zvezda boxing too! Yea i know about the 1/72 missile but wonder if a 1/35 one will be done one day?
I wonder if Trumpeter will do the new North Korean 22 wheel monster Hwasong-17 next? (see photos below in the links)

Glenn, I got my pre-ordered kit today, and I alm also impressed with the dimensions. But I also found one glaring problem with the kit tyres. Both sides are identical. This means you can not show the right turning direction arrow on the left side of the vehicle. Inscription in Cyrillic is present, don't know about eventual spelling correctness.

Interesting Steven, I doubt they will correct the tyre direction arrows! (there so tiny anyway) I'm not going to loose any sleep over it, And i would never waste money (they end up costing half the cost of the model) on resin aftermarket "sagged" tyres for any of these kits looking at real photos the tyres show very little deformation at the bottom. I'll leave that to the OCD cases! They are in the next ward down from the "Rivet Counters" 🤪

If you look at the tyres on the North Korean Hwasong-17 for example they don't show any sag in the tyres.

Somebody told me the kit tires are actually coming from a different Russian 8-wheeled vehicle Trumpeter had released prior. I think MZKT7930. He had 2 Topols in production. Euro Scale Modelling 2022 | Album by StevenVD

While the wheels are derived from the MZKT 7930 chassis vehicle (seeing that Trumpeter does not produce a MZKT 7930 cargo truck but I did one using parts from the Iskandar M and MAZ 7313 cargo truck), the tyres are from the MAZ 7310 chassis vehicle which includes the SCUD M and MAZ 7313.
