You want an LRV, Light Recon Veh, for that project accessories. It has the T-50 turret not the Scorpion. The ammo liners and figures are for a LRV/APC 113 variant

Hi Scott, you sound like just the guy I need to sepak with!!
I bought a number of Mouse House accessories just before they closed - because I could.
I have 2 M113 kits (both the AFV Club ones) and really need to know which accessories I can use - I will probably then try to sell the rest.
Are you interested in helping me? There's bound to be some MHE stuff you could use??

The 1st thing you need to do is work out when you want to model the kits as.
There is a lot of differences from the earliest M113 APC in Vietnam right up until they served at end of their time before converted to M113AS4.
That will impact what accessories you use.

Straight from the box the M113 APC from AFV Club is pretty good.
APC Id say you need to choose between Vietnam or Post
Vietnam
T-50 turret.
Some were twin 30 cal
30/50 cal both in the turret mount
50 cal in mount and 30 cal on pintle mount on top of turret
Many of these had the ammo liners along the hull for extra ammo

Post Vietnam
Twin 30 for a little while especially as apc ROLE
30/50 IN lrv role

Cam version

Around Timor 2000
Some had track changed to Diehl tracks

MRV is pretty standard.
Main choice is green or cam
Often had side flotation pods off, so that is a choice as well

Anyway, make some decisions on when you want to build.
Have a look at some of my finioshed M113 projects will give some clues.

I'll probably go along the Vietnam era, to tag along with the AFV Club Centurion that I have.
I'll set aside some time to consider what I want to do, and try to have a look at your projects on scalemates too.
