![Album image #2 Album image #2](/albums/img/1/4/9/1477149-29367-38-720.jpg)
Ready for first paint
![Album image #3 Album image #3](/albums/img/7/3/1/1477731-29367-88-720.jpg)
Applied the numerous PE parts after a base paint of Gunze C308
![Album image #4 Album image #4](/albums/img/9/6/4/1479964-29367-53-720.jpg)
Almost ready to close
![Album image #5 Album image #5](/albums/img/9/6/5/1479965-29367-57-720.jpg)
Cockpit (minus front instrument panel) is ready, varnished with the excellent Vallejo Matt Varnish 62.062
![Album image #6 Album image #6](/albums/img/2/7/1/1480271-29367-63-720.jpg)
Time for glue and very strong clamps
![Album image #7 Album image #7](/albums/img/9/2/0/1485920-29367-52-720.jpg)
Some gaps here, possibly because I'm using a non UTI MiG-15 exhaust tube that is a bit too large
![Album image #8 Album image #8](/albums/img/9/2/1/1485921-29367-46-720.jpg)
For some reason, the left side of the fuselage wouldn't close around the cockpit, despite some careful sanding - this was the minimum I could manage and a seriously skewed fuselage
![Album image #9 Album image #9](/albums/img/9/2/2/1485922-29367-37-720.jpg)
Milliput (white) applied
![Album image #10 Album image #10](/albums/img/9/2/3/1485923-29367-50-720.jpg)
After Milluput, sanding, Mr Surfacer 500, more sanding, AK Microfiller Primer, more sanding and I'll still have to do some work
![Album image #11 Album image #11](/albums/img/9/2/4/1485924-29367-95-720.jpg)
After Milluput, sanding, Mr Surfacer 500, more sanding, AK Microfiller Primer, more sanding and I'll still have to do some work
![Album image #12 Album image #12](/albums/img/9/2/5/1485925-29367-62-720.jpg)
Wings and tail glued, maybe some acrylic putty will be required here and there
![Album image #13 Album image #13](/albums/img/4/9/3/1489493-29367-93-720.jpg)
Putty time
![Album image #14 Album image #14](/albums/img/4/0/9/1513409-29367-48-720.jpg)
H45 applied - too saturated blue, it seems to me
![Album image #15 Album image #15](/albums/img/4/1/0/1513410-29367-15-720.jpg)
De-saturated by mixing the H45 with H314
![Album image #16 Album image #16](/albums/img/4/1/1/1513411-29367-56-720.jpg)
The recommended Gunze color in the instructions seemed odd, so I chose MRP-37 Dark Yellow instead
![Album image #17 Album image #17](/albums/img/1/6/9/1514169-29367-83-720.jpg)
Paint made clear and sprayed over salt - I did not like the result and toned it donw after removing the salt
![Album image #18 Album image #18](/albums/img/1/6/8/1514168-29367-30-720.jpg)
Paint so far
![Album image #19 Album image #19](/albums/img/1/7/0/1514170-29367-58-720.jpg)
Green patches applied with MRP-35 Olive Green
![Album image #20 Album image #20](/albums/img/1/7/1/1514171-29367-88-720.jpg)
Tamiya XF-4 + XF-2 heavily diluted with Mr Levelling Thinner misted over the entire plane
![Album image #21 Album image #21](/albums/img/3/6/0/1542360-29367-30-720.jpg)
Painting the intake silver
![Album image #22 Album image #22](/albums/img/0/6/5/1542065-29367-75-720.jpg)
Plane varnished with X-22, decals applied, and varnished again
![Album image #23 Album image #23](/albums/img/0/6/4/1542064-29367-55-720.jpg)

Very nice progress. This makes me want to start with one of my mig-15 kits.

Thank you Shar - this is my forth and last from my box! 😄 Some years ago I bought the Royal Class box, which is exquisite, with lots of extras, including a piece of a real Mig-15
