Revell Eurofighter Typhoon "Black Jack"
Another work in progress photo of the 1/48 Eurofighter Typhoon "Black Jack". This was taken after glueing the fuselage halves together and before mounting them to the wing section. I added a lot of weight to the nose and also painted up a pilot figure. No issues so far and the assembly of the air intake was a lot less problematic than with the older 1/72 Eurofighter from Revell.
I had to work on several smaller gaps and imperfections all over the model. My initial plan was to display the airbrake extended but I changed my mind. The terrible fit of that part is another story.
A closer look inside the canopy. I added a few wires here and there to add a bit of detail.
Masking the middle section wasn't a big problem, airbrushing Hataka Traffic Red over grey primer needed more layers than expected though.
A bit of weathering is a must, even on an otherwise completely clean aircraft.
