Album info

This F4U-1 is the Kit from Tamiya. It was build with a new cockpit from Aires (with correct seat from Ultracast), eduard etch-parts to detail the wheel-bays, under carriage legs and the engine as well as up position flaps from Ultracast, new wheels from Attack Squadron and elevaters from Verlinden. Markings for this F4U-1 flown Lt. Wilbur Thomas, VMF.213, Gualdalcanal, July 1943 are from various sources (mainly Techmod with Kagero, EagleCals and Sky Models). Painting was done with Tamiya-Colors, except the blue grey which is from Mr. Hobby.
