The original cockpit which is a massive resin block and walls made of styrene to build the new cockpit

The cut out at the rear side is needed as an outlet for the optical fibres and wires  

The cockpit insert with the optical fibres mounted. Unfortunately the 0,5 mm fibres at the side broke after assembley of the outer hull due to a too smal bending radius. The 0,25 did not=> lesson learned for the next project 

The pre painted outer cockpit hull with clear styreane for the windows mounted yet and the cockpit insert ready for assembley. Te crew consists of Bossk, Asaij Ventress , young Boba and Aura Sing 

The front section of the fuselage below the not yet assembled cockpit with a chanel for the dashboard wiring and the bore to store the optical fibres and wiring to the middle section

The electric circuts for the red, blue and whit cocpit LED´s. The circut will be stored in the hollow middles section of the fuselage. The led´s of the dashbord illumination will be conneted directly to the battery pack

Side viev of the finished models. The base is a wooden box, the tube to connect the base and the model is of carbon fibre. 

The teeth symbols are decals, the red stripes are air brushed despite they are as decals in the kit. This makes weathering more easy. 

View into the cockpit. at the left, Bossk, in the middle Asaj Ventress, at bthe right Aura Sing. Boba is not visible. At he end i am a bit disapointed of the lighting effects. They are behind my expectations
