Exhaust painted with several tones of AK Xtreme Metal colors

Decided to give it a pin wash, using a mix of Tamiya Panel Line Accent Color Light and Dark Gray; I used these products because they leave the model very clean

Add a spreader to push out the fuselage to meet the wing. It might solve your fit issue.

@tyu, I have done that kind of fix, but that would change the round shape of the exhaust in this case; with a little force, most of it is gone, the rest will be solved with regular putty; I'll post the photos;

Thank you mates, getting there; I am still in doubt if I will give it a pin wash or just leave it as it is, because all pictures show the plane immaculately clean……..

That's a wrap; not completely happy: the fit is not the best, the plastic has a weird texture, the wheels don't touch all in the floor and the same time, etc. But it's finished, and I'm happy with that! First of 2024. Final photos here: Chengdu J-10 | Album by RReis (1:48)
