Didn't have any spare jars to mix up some sprue goo, so made do as best I could with altering between Tamiya Extra Thin as well as Tamiya white cap Cement. It got most of the seams...

Not sure I'll use all of these colours, but it was my initially chosen palette

Initial testing of an Oilbrusher to see how the colour matched... And wound up putting it on a tad too thick initially, but I'll know for next time.

Sadly though, looks like my gloss clearcoat didn't quite bond. Not sure if it was the mix I used in the airbrush or not applying enough, but he now has a nickname - Captain Fuzzbutt. I'm suspecting lack of a good bond wasn't due to the thinner in the oils, as it cracked and flaked in other areas. Come to think of it, I don't recall if I washed this kit initially, so I suspect that's the biggest reason.

He has since gotten a good scrub down to get the original gloss clear coat off, and now has had a satin clearcoat applied, and several layers of it at that. Sadly some of the panel lining courtesy of a Gundam Marker Brown Fine Tip isn't there anymore, but nothing oils can't help bring back!

The Quick!! Eevee kit isn't a bad kit, but it has some rather noticeable seam lines, so I decided why not try my hand at removing them since I've never done such on a kit, and then give myself a bit of practice with oil paints to add more to this little guy's fur.
