Love the license plate. Had the same style on my '65 Falcon Convertible (V8) back in the day. Got the rust down really good.

Album info

An old work. It was my second car model and my first model from AMT. I dont know if its just me, but all the AMT model I built were very problematic. Its especially annoying as they dont have that much pieces, but they rarely fit well. The worst for the Pinto was the tires and the body. The body could not fit with the frame, way too thight...it was a real nightmare to build. When i painted the interior, i learned that lacquer paint dont work very well on an acrylic primer. At the end I experiment with weathering technics, hiding my numerous mistakes. Because of my many errors, i learn more with this model than 10 models of Tamiya...
