Ben: I bought it. its a static fabric, easy to use with white glue. I just added a photo with all the stuff. The long grass was from the same company as the spray: WWS

So very different from a lot of dioramas.

Never thought of those old 1/24th Monogram kits
being used like this. Very clever.

Album info

My Grandmother would have been 100 this year. What better way to pay homage to her than to make a diorama of one of her oldest photos, dating from August 1941, with a Ford Model A. She is in the foreground with her two sisters, my great aunts, in the back. Not easy to find figurines that worked perfectly for the dio and that could fit on the car, I had to remove the paint on some models, saw off pieces and re-glue parts, but it gives a result very close to the original photo. The model is a 1930 Ford Model A by Monogram dating from 1974 ... on the other hand, despite its age it was a real pleasure to build. I have chosen British green (Tamiya) as the color, even though the original car was probably black.
